About Me
I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I graduated from Stanford in 2023, where I studied Human Biology and Computer Science. Afterward, I worked in software engineering at
Meta and
Codex Health. I'm now a first-year medical student at
Weill Cornell Medicine.
My mission is to integrate medicine and technology to improve human health. At Stanford, my research focused on the neuroplasticity of eye movement control, informing potential therapies for cerebellar disorders. At Codex Health, I developed a remote patient monitoring app to support patients with cardiometabolic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. Currently, I'm training to become a physician at Weill Cornell Medicine.
Education and Experience
Jul 2023 — Aug 2024
- Developed the backend for Allie, a remote patient monitoring app that tracks patient health metrics (e.g. blood pressure, glucose) in real time via Bluetooth monitors
- Collaborated with nurses and physicians to develop Foresight, a clinician portal for viewing and analyzing remote patient monitoring data
Software Engineering Intern | Meta
Jun 2022 — Sep 2022
- Facebook iOS Notifications team
- Developed a new push notification interface for the Facebook app
- Increased the push notification want rate by 17% and overall push conversions by 4%
Jun 2020 — Jun 2023
- Demonstrated the existence of a functional oculomotor integrator (a brain circuit that refines gaze stability) in mice, revealing similarities in plasticity mechanisms across species
- Engineered a novel behavioral training protocol that uses visual feedback to adaptively tune the performance of this circuit, informing potential therapies for cerebellar disorders
